I should be talking a little bit more about myself in order to make this and "official" blog. I'm Jessica and I hope to be an art teacher someday. Not so much drawing because drawing has never been my forte, but I am hoping along the lines of photography, digital photography or graphic design. Last semester, I took a drawing class and it was one of the worst experiences of my life! Drawing does not come easily to me and when I would look around and see everyone else drawing so perfectly, I felt so embarrassed. Some nights, I worked on my drawings till 4 am and they still looked like a disaster.
But that wasn't nearly as bad as my printmaking class. I thought printmaking had do something with t-shirts, but I was wrong. It was old time printmaking. You know, the kind of thing they did back in the 1800's. You had to crank this HUGE machine that I could barely turn because it was so heavy, and it was probably the most expensive class I have ever taken. I had to buy all of my own supplies; books, paper, wood, tools, metal. It was a nightmare! Not only were the assignments difficult, but they were time consuming. Everything was so tedious.
I have learned the hard way and decided not to take anymore classes that I wasn't 100% sure what they were. Currently, I am enrolled in a multimedia class and I love it!
As for more about me personally, you can read my interests and what not.
Sorry, I talk a lot!

Hi, Jessica! That was quite an autobiography you wrote there. Sounds like you've got experience when it comes to experimenting. Good luck in your path to becoming an art major. And hey, if that doesn't work, you can always see writing as your strength so don't be apologetic about talking too much, hehe. Take care, and have fun!
